Vale of Evesham Commerce and Tourism Association

VECTA is a voluntary group of people working together with the following aim and objectives, as stated in our constitution:

VECTA aims to provide a service to the business, commerce, and tourism sectors in Evesham and The Vale :

  • By helping to establish a favourable operating environment, through representation to local & central government bodies and other relevant agencies.
  • By providing a forum for discussion on non-competitive issues.
  • By providing information to assist members in their business.
  • By promoting Evesham & The Vale within the UK.
  • By increasing membership to the Association, and ensuring that all members are kept well informed on VECTA matters.

The current committee, which is made up of business people from Evesham and The Vale and representatives from Wychavon District Council, Evesham Town Council, The Civic Society and The Almonry meet on a monthly basis and discuss items of mutual benefit to members. Any VECTA member is welcome to attend the meetings – please email Alan Jones for details of the next meeting date and venue.
