Small Business Support from the Government in response to Covid-19

Support has been announced for small businesses affected by Covid-19. This includes a new income support scheme for businesses who are suffering a loss of income in the form of a taxable grant worth 80% of their profits. This is open to those who were trading in the last financial year, still trading now, and planning to continue doing so this year. The scheme will be open to those with a trading profit of less than £50,000.

Find out if your business is eligible and how to apply.

There are also a range of other measures in place to support self-employed people and businesses. More information is available on the Gov.uk website

Wychavon District Council also have lots of useful information for businesses on their website including an online grant support application form.

Visit Wychavon's business support website.

Please do get in touch if you have any concerns and would like to chat to a fellow small business owner.
