Following our AGM on 9th January, we are excited to announce our new VECTA committee. Our new chair is Tom Tarver, owner of Johnsons Property Consultants. Mick Hurst of Areca Design will continue as Vice Chair and Natasha Wooldridge, owner of Modest Marketing, is the new secretary.
Also joining as Executive Members are Penny Preston and Karen Meadows, alongside Adrian Nichols and Jerry Davis who are continuing in this role. We still need a Treasurer so if you know anyone with accounting experience please let them know we have a vacancy!
During the January AGM we also welcomed Claire Roumph, Manager of the new Evesham Waitrose store, who gave us an update on the first few months since opening in November and plans for 2019 (and kindly brought some Waitrose goodies!).
We also had an update from Shawn Riley on behalf of Wychavon District Council on progress since the traffic survey, updates on the tourism action plan and Battle of Evesham festival and exciting news that Citizens Advice will be celebrating 80 years - Peter Lee Smith will be giving an update on local events linked to this in one of our upcoming meetings.
Our next meeting is on Wednesday 13th Feb, 6pm at The Northwick Hotel, Waterside, Evesham.
