September 2018

Our September meeting at the Northwick Hotel was very well attended - thank you all for supporting us.

It was great to hear from Gerry O’Donnell and Bruce Taylor who are asking businesses to support their anti-litter campaign to reduce litter in the town therefore encouraging more tourists, reducing the amount of taxpayers money spent on litter clearing and (potentially) freeing that money up to use elsewhere (like mental health).

VECTA will be supporting and engaging in this campaign by having a representative on the committee - Deborah Rolls - in order to work together for the people and businesses of Evesham. If you want to get involved and make a difference please contact: bruce.bg.taylor@talk21.com or gerry.donnell@sky.com.

VECTA has recently supported the town's Cyclefest, Port Street Fayre and the Battle of Evesham. We will continue to support the local campaign to restore the historic buildings lead by the Town Plan committee to restore and protect our heritage for the generations to come, therefore encouraging more tourism and benefiting the business community.

Next VECTA meeting is an Open Evening with drinks and nibbles on the Spirit of Freedom from 6pm on the 10th October.

Please feel free to invite colleagues, friends and neighbours whom are interested in networking, business, tourism, local politics and loves Evesham!
